TERMS OF SERVICE
If you are reading the terms of service, then you have decided to buy a commission from me or are in the process of deciding.

Terms and Conditions
The commissioner hereby agrees not to claim the produced artwork as his or her own. Therefore:
The artist controls copyright of the produced artwork, but the commissioner, unless stated otherwise (e.g. Capcom holds copyright of Dante from Devil May Cry), controls copyright of the character. This includes personally owned and artist-designed characters.
The commissioner and artist both reserve the right to post the image on social media when complete.
If the commissioner claims the artwork as his/her own, the commissioner will then be prevented from buying another commission until the artist is credited.
All commissions must be used for personal, noncommercial purposes.
The artist and commissioner should conduct regular communication on social media, incl. DeviantART, Discord, or BlueSky. This route will allow for updates to be provided to the commissioner.
The artist must receive payment prior to the commission being shown to the commissioner. No exceptions.
Therefore, it is hereby stated that, upon receiving approval from the artist, the commissioner:
...must provide at least one reference of the desired character or a link to multiple references (e.g. through Toyhouse).
...must pay the artist the full amount of the commission up front unless stated otherwise (see "EXCEPTIONS").
...must provide commissioner's PayPal e-mail address upon buying. This is required to complete any transaction.
...can only pay the artist through PayPal. No other services are accepted.
EXCEPTIONS
If the commissioner does not immediately have payment ready:
Commissioner must state date and/or time when rest of payment will be provided, otherwise commission will be scratched.
In the event of a proven emergency (e.g. death in family, blackouts and severe weather, going out of town, etc.), payment can be made at a later date.
However, the commission will not be shown until the payment is made.
PLEASE DO NOT:
...reproduce the artwork and thereby claim it as your own.
...take credit for the creation of the artwork, including removing any watermarks/signatures.
...alter the artwork without consent of the artist.
...use this artwork for any such defamatory purposes.
